I am pursuing the opportunity to grow and develop my career in Construction Project Management, and I am confident that fulfilling a position of Construction Manager will be a step in the right direction. I possess a fond interest and knowledge of Project Management processes and I am currently engaged in attaining a PMP certificate. I am looking for an employer that encourages my educational pursuits as well as my hands-on experiences within the organization, and will allow me to progress into a better working professional, by exposing me to daily challenges.I have previously enjoyed working in a Project Management Office for my previous employer. As a Draftsman, my responsibilities mandated a disciplined manner of approach and emphasized attention to detail. My main responsibilities encompassed translating substantially technical engineering blueprints into easily readable manufacturing and installation drawings. I have worked well within project team environments. I am familiar with business standards, and how to implement them into daily operations. I have worked predominantly in design/engineering/construction, in the Oil and Gas industry for the past six years, and I know how to communicate effectively between all levels of an organization. Aside from my experience, I also possess a substantial degree of tenacity for furthering my education. I have secured my PMCP certificate, I have recently graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, and I am currently enrolled in Louisiana State University’s Post Baccalaureate in Construction Management, with the intent to complete a Masters in Construction Management. I have played a vital role in dozens of projects over the years, whether it was in design and engineering, procurement and document control, or implementation phases of the project life cycle. I am ready to take the next step and progress in my career.
