Supervise, motivate, control, assess and train crewing and rostering staff regarding procedures and flight time limitations.Analyse, update, implement and maintain the work procedures of the crewing department in order to obtain efficiency and flexibility Monitor the performance within the department and take corrective actions if needed.Follow-up of the Crew planning process in order to produce rosters in the most cost effective way.Act as link between the company and the crewing system provider, in order to improve and develop the necessary tools for the crewing department. In 2006 I was the project manager for the implementation of a new crewing system Sabre in the company.Calculate the crew needs to operate a give program with attention towards legality, costs and fatigue

Prepare the flight crew rosters to insure that the flight program is covered, taking into account regulations, company policies and flight crew requests.Work closely together with the training department to have fully qualified flight crew members at all times.Work closely together with the commercial department, to ensure that all requested flights are planned.Keep records of the rosters and provide reports to the managers and the authorities.

Calculations of the crew needs for the cabin crew members based on the monthly flight schedule. Attribution of vacation periods, parental leave and unpaid leave based on the forecast of the coming months.Reporting on the monthly productivity and costs for different scenario's of the flight schedule.Creation of the crew rotations in Adopt Pairings for the rostering department in order to save on costs and workdays. Tests on a new crew bidding and rostering system ( Adopt PBS system) in order to give feedback to the provider to develop customized software.
