I am a seasoned economist, strategic and financial consultant, turnaround management expert, dedicated entrepreneur, and investor, with an career spanning over 35 years in the Caribbean, Europe, North America, and South America.Co-founder and co-owner of several notable ventures, including MIND Strategy Consultants, the University of Dutch Caribbean, CREAM Advertising, Fun Miles, the Aruba Vacation Park, and Aruba Waterpark. Held pivotal leadership roles within the Bonaire Holding Maatschappij, where I assumed the CEO position for WEB Bonaire, Telbo, Bonaire International Airport and Selibon. During my time in Bonaire we achieved remarkable breakthrough in transforming the electricity grid to 44% renewable, introducing “all IP” in telecommunications, whilst turning all entities financially around.Served as Senior Advisor to governments of Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. More recently, in my role as an advisor to the international Financial Services sector in Curacao, I conceptualized the 'Suriname - Curacao Safe Financial Corridor,' playing a pivotal role in opening the Surinamese market to this sector. In october 2024 I published my first book "Groene Olie', about the upcoming oil boom in Suriname. My Alma Mater is the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. where I got a Master degree in Business Economics. Feel blessed to have been part of so many Grand Adventures.
