Hampshire And The Isle Of Wight

Enabling the Red Cross to help people in crisis by raising funds in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Working in the community to raise funds through committees, volunteers, corporates, groups and associations, private individuals, trusts and grants, appeals, major donors and events.• Responsible for ensuring Hampshire and Isle of Wight achieves its annual fundraising targets. • Recruiting, training, managing and motivating the Community Fundraiser and approximately 200 volunteers through co-ordinators and committees. • Raising awareness of the work of the Red Cross through talks, presentations, press releases, radio interviews, forums, public relations.• Researching and applying for trusts and grants.• Nurturing relationships with major donors and encouraging them to work more closely with the organization.• Recognising future legators and referring them to the Legacy department, attending legacy events.• Organising, managing and marketing events.• Supporting 3rd party fundraisers, volunteers and committees including creating committees.• Networking to find corporates to approach and working with them to promote awareness and raise funds.• Building relationships with other charitable organisations, groups and associations.• Creation of marketing materials• Social media• Thanking, banking, and administration including use of databases• Being creative and solving problems• Ensuring that the people who raise funds for the Red Cross have fun and feel valued!

West Berks And North West Hampshire

Supporting people to raise funds for people affected by cancer in West Berkshire and North Hampshire. I recruit and train volunteers, work with local fundraising committees, liaise with and advise 3rd party eventers, approach and network with companies, make presentations and develop relationships with people in order to raise awareness of the work carried out by Macmillan and to raise the money to fund it.
