• Responsible for ensuring Hampshire and Isle of Wight achieves its annual fundraising targets.
• Recruiting, training, managing and motivating the Community Fundraiser and approximately 200 volunteers through co-ordinators and committees.
• Raising awareness of the work of the Red Cross through talks, presentations, press releases, radio interviews, forums, public relations.
• Researching and applying for trusts and grants.
• Nurturing relationships with major donors and encouraging them to work more closely with the organization.
