Oversee the complete resale program to support the selling of bakeries from owners’ initial intent to sell, assistance with valuation, sourcing of potential qualified buyers, support through negotiations, brand approval, and integration ahead of closing. Work closely with vendors to understand processes, identify pain points, and improve communication to foster a smooth owner to owner transition. Work side by side with renewal and Development managers to ensure maintenance and condition of bakery assets upon trade.Review and qualify organic and third party leads and initiate follow-up communication for availability and next steps. Coordinate and guide highly qualified candidates through the franchise approval process: brand education, financial approval, validation, discovery day, final approval. Assist and educate approved candidates through next steps including operations and marketing expectations, franchise and development agreements/timelines, real estate assistance, and bakery build-out. Research and drive lead sourcing through new and evolving channels.Assist with development and updates of phone and online presentations that further enhance education of brand approval, culture, vision, and values for potential franchise candidates. Partner with Operations and Marketing departments to receive relevant feedback that assists with continuous enhancements and improvements to the brand’s overall Franchise Recruitment and Sales process. Lead FranConnect project to leverage capabilities, update workflows, and create an approval dashboard to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with annual update of Franchise Disclosure Document.

Works daily to build franchise relationships to ensure open and trusted communication and resolution of franchise inquiries. Reviews and drafts legal Franchise documents including Franchise Agreements, amendments, ancillary franchise documents and organizational documents. Assists to ensure our franchise organizations have a complete and accurate portfolio from a holistic viewpoint.

Performed high-level calendar management and coordinated meetings with internal and external partners. Arranged international and domestic travel and assisted with travel agendas and documents. Supported Operations direct reports to include VPs and Senior Directors as well as assisted in fulfilling the needs and inquiries of the Operations team. Organized and coordinated the franchise awards for the annual Spring Business Conference and assisted with the planning and execution of the annual Pizza Hut Fall Business Conference. Helped drive the Operations culture by creating and leading the Culture Committee to ensure each Operations team member was recognized and celebrated. We organized team off-sites and building events, monthly birthday celebrations and department-wide volunteer initiatives.
