I'am Jan van der Wel. I founded Technolution / TNL in 1987 with three other enthusiastic techies. My bachelors degree studies were about mechanics, electronics en embedded software.in 1983 I graduated on the subject communication systems for home land security services, using Intel 8085 microprocessors. My first job was about systems engineering of greenhouse control systems that controlled the entire climate/ecosystem within these facilities including feeding and watering the crops.In 1989 we started with R&D on traffic sensors and traffic control systems. Around 2005 we decided to start R&D on multi-agent based intelligent network decision support systems in a chaotic open world. This chaotic open world is characterised by always changing environments and events caused by unexpected autonomous causes including noisy, incomplete and inconsistent data. Typical applications researched and valorised were applications that need geo information like transportation, utilities and homeland security.With this kind of R&D, among many other R&D, we became an expert at the design and build of mission critical systems within Transportation, Utility, Defence, Semicon and Medtech sectors. During my work, Technolution has grown to about 220+ bachelor and master degree skilled techies. They are passionated to design and build sound technical systems and products that include electronics, logic and software. Products and systems include advanced stand-alone products to complete national IoT based control systems that require governance based on legislation and (cyber) security.
