Gielissen invested in building unique expertise in strategy, ROI and event program services with this special department called Strategic Services. It was fun and a great learning experience to work with communication specialists and customers. We developed unique insights as we have worked on more than 50 cases per year, some of them were even award-winning. Best experience ever was -no doubt- AGFA Graphics at Drupa 2008 who scored an estimated payback ratio of 11,8 in 1 year and a stunning 121M turnover against a forecasted 40M! Over this period of time, Gielissen worked for 24 of the Global Top 100 Brands, so this was like a high school experience for us!

Responsibility for the total organization, process and output of the creative part of Gielissen, based in Amsterdam and Eindhoven.

This company was partly taken over by Gielissen Interiors & Exhibitions in 1998.

This company was active in many disciplines: outdoor advertising, tv & theatre sceneries, events, exhibitions, roadshows... and I did them all. There were plenty opportunities at the time and my broad interest was never restricted by anyone, so my activities varied from visualizing (first job) to design, studio management, international account management, project management, management... the works! I guess that I was very lucky to build my own 360˚ experience because -in this livecom world- it really helps when you are hybrid enough to see the full picture!

Organize moving the complete collection from 5 different locations into the present location, including all office furniture. 60 km of books, from novels to auction pieces. Big project, great fun.
