I have retired after 33 years in the pharmaceutical industry. It was a pleasure to work with many of you while working on better lives of patients. And exactly in that order.Up to a next chapter: my ever increasing passion for birds will keep me busy for the years to come. My company is offering technical and project management services in both CMC-development as well as in manufacturing. These services are strengthened by a thorough understanding of quality, regulatory and clinical guidelines. As a specialty, I offer services to the legal cannabis industry.

My main responsibility is to be the world wide expert on Medical Cannabis for the ProPharma Group. Next to that, I act as a project lead for complex CMC-projects.

Different company name after the ProPharma Group acquired Xendo.Broad expert in legal cannabis and cannabis-related products for clinical and/or food applications. Projects range form delivering clinical trial material for Phase I studies to support of tech transfers and support of manufacturing. This is done in close collaboration with the analytical, regulatory, engineering and QA-teams within Xendo and at our Clients. I also remain responsible for a number of development projects.

Project management of fee-for-service projects for clients. The projects entail development of injectables using innovative formulation technologies such as liposomes and microspheres. They cover the full range from preclinical to cGMP production.

Overall project management (Clinical, Marketing, CMC, Regulatory, QA) for development of allergy vaccins (pollen, housedust mites, venoms, etc). Phase II clinical trials, preparation of a Phase III clinical trial. The products are used as a causal treatment of allergies by a desensibilisation mechanism.

My department is responsible for the chemical development of small molecules from Clinical Phase I up to and including validation. The work also includes the necessary documents for filing. We regularly outsource activities to external partners.

My department is responsible for developing chemical and analytical methods for the commercial route of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The department transfers these methods to commercial sites for the procduction of API's. The department is also responsible for delivering API-supplies for clinical and toxicological studies.

Project manager chemical and pharmaceutical development. Responsible for the CMC-part of alliances with 2 big pharma companies. Leader in introducing innovative technologies in clinical formulations.

Experience in leading chemical development projects including scale up to pilot plants and outsourcing.

Responsible for bringing the production of vitamin D analogues to GMP-level. Also, technical support for the business unit in answering questions from customers.
