There are so many facets to working in the AEC industry, that one needs to be able to agile and adapt with the changing and evolving field. I want to be on edge of the AEC industry, working with high tech tools such as BIM, cloud based data, LIDAR, 360 images, robust project management software. In any role that I am in, I will question how things are done, and why are they not done a better way. I do not assume to know the best way, but I will definitely do personal R&D to validate my methods. The biggest road block in incremental efficiency increases is a lack of support and mindset from colleagues.
