Co-Founder & Special EventsMyour Events May 2009 - May 2010Chicago, IlThis small scale arts incubator and collective began due to a class at the School of Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in connection to the South Side Community Art Center (SSCAC). The inaugural event "Jumpin' for SSCAC" held in Bronzeville brought over 300 people together from all over the city and donated proceeds to the historic center. Inspired by the Golden Era of Bronzeville over the course of nine month we hosted over 70 events. Artists such as Danny Brown and Quelle Chris from Detroit, The Flashbulb from Chicago plus a widely diverse show of art forms, artists and creative play was explored during this project. We expanded to include workshops, local film festivals, promotional events for Chicago.com/music and fun performance themed "Art Star" interactive fitness sessions.
