Senior Hr Business Partner
CurrentSenior HR Business Partner for the Wates Group central functions (Group Finance, Group IT, SHEQS, Commercial, Procurement and Legal) and the Wates Family Office. Summary of duties/responsibilities:Key HR contact for senior leaders for each function. Providing guidance and support on people management and the application of policy. Leverage relationships with HR team members/Centres of Excellence to ensure coverage and delivery of effective HR support to client base.Support central HR team in updating policies and procedures to ensure they are: legally compliant; reflect best practice; and are easily understood.Point of escalation for complex employee relations cases. Providing advice and support to managers and HR Advisors, which takes account of legal risks/obligations, as well as commercial and operational considerations.Partner with HR data analysts to obtain appropriate and timely management data which is analysed and presented to Senior Leadership Teams.Support cyclical HR activities: talent and succession planning; promotion and salary review processes, providing appropriate challenges where necessary.HR lead on discrete projects and member of Working Groups which develop and implement strategies that support Group-wide objectives, including those relating to Inclusion and Diversity and regulatory compliance.
