I led an – ECHO funded emergency agriculture recovery project rehabilitating livelihoods for populations affected by the 2007/2008 Post-election Violence in Kenya. This project supported communities affected by the Kenya 2007/2008 post-election violence to go back to their homes and restart their agricultural livelihoods. Using a voucher based approach to help households access key agricultural inputs, the project enabled the target beneficiaries to cultivate at least one acre of farmland or access a number of small livestock e.g. sheep thus restating their livelihood activities. At the same time, I also supported a sister project that was establishing housing units for shelter to those displaced by the violence

Managed a Catholic Relief Services funded Kenya Drought Emergency relief project using a cash based voucher for work approach that led to development of agriculture based soil and water conservation.
