I have been providing a course to hda since the fall of 2019 called "Energy Use in the US and Germany" where I work with students over the semester to discuss Energy related topics on a national and reginal scale. The course ends with a deliverable from each student where they compare the US, Germany, and a third region/country of their interest in how energy is consumed. The goal is to create an understanding of how Energy is used by the Global community and the sustanability of that use.The summers of 2018 and 2019 I was a Guest Lecture at the International Summer University (ISU) offered at by the Hochschule Darmstadt. The ISU focused on the German Energiewende (Energy Transformation). I lectured on topics ranging from Automation and Energy use to students from all over the world.

The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for the development, construction, installation, maintenance, and improvement of CHT USA’s process automation. This position is also responsible for the design and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in CHT USA’s manufacturing sites (Cassopolis, MI and Richmond, VA). This role is based in Cassopolis, MI, with travel to Richmond, VA as necessary to support automation and electrical infrastructure projects there.

Focus in development of equipment and software required in the manufacturing facility to move data to the Edge for ML/AI processing and control.

Envision Automation is an automation and controls service contractor in the Michiana Region. Project tasks were to build an Engineering team to move Envision from a service contractor to a Machine Builder and Automation Design Contractor.

College of Technology, School of Engineering Technology, South Bend Statewide SiteTeaching focused on Electrical Power, Controls, and Automation. During this time I taught over 33 different named ECET and MET couses. And spearheaded the design, build and management of Automation Laboratory teaching platform used at 11 Purdue Statewide sites along with use of the Purdue MEP Program. This resulted in adding the MfET program to Statewide students.I authored a text book, Introduction to Industrial Controls: A Practical Engineering Technician Design Method, which was used for the industrial controls coursework.Partnering with the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) we were able to provide training for +150 industrial maintenance professionals in Electrical Power and PLC Controls.

Instructing in a laboratory environment for EET 207 “AC Electronics Circuit Analysis”, EET 231 “Electrical Power and Controls”, and EET 257 “Power and RF Electronics”. Duties included teaching, grading, and assistance in classroom management.

Estimating experience with large electrical construction projects in Houston, Texas. Largest project was a $13.8 Million Electrical Estimation for a 20 story hotel in downtown Houston.
