Software Architect
CurrentResponsible for the design and realization of a broad range of maintenance software applications for practically all active sensor products of Thales Hengelo. Involved in road-map definitions and development of prototypes and research studies in order to help the maintenance personnel on board of a ship to achieve the next level of craftsmanship on performing preventive and corrective maintenance.Techs: Java, OSGi, Android and doing Scrum.Flow of activities:2020 - current: System engineering of new third generation TACTICOS Combat Management System.2017 - 2019: System engineering of integrating surface-to-surface missile system Exocet into Thales TACTICOS Combat Management System. Involvement in various program capture teams by presenting and live demonstrating operational and maintenance capabilities of Thales systems.2009 - 2017: Set up, develop and maintain a software architecture for operational maintenance of sensor systems on board of a ship. 2014 - 2017: Scrum Master of the Scrum-of-scrums at the Sensors/Processing department. 8 teams with their own discipline and expertise working on features together.2014 - 2016: Product Owner of Test Tools team.
