o Organized and managed a team of 20+ students in the design and manufacturing of the electronics systemso Established direction, scope, and MISRA C/C++ Automotive safety standards for all new software projects for the vehicleso Redesigned vehicle power distribution module, custom CAN dash display, and analog-digital CAN based data acquisition boards to increase electric and combustion vehicles’ reliability, serviceability and performance. Integrated production quality control techniques to decrease design and manufacturing time and increase production quality and reliability of the vehicle electrical systemso Maintained Vehicle Data Acquisition system/sensors and provided trackside systems and analysis support to drive data driven designs using MoTeC data loggers and ECUs.o Utilized a hub dynamometer, runway and track testing data to sweep through engine loads to tune and develop engine control strategy, optimize the engine’s fuel efficiency, drivability and throttle response while increasing horsepower output¬o Managed transition to new MCU from 8 bit Atmel AT90 to a 32 bit NXP ARM based processor and introduced new software and hardware development processeso Coordinated with vendors and sponsors to ensure components were delivered on time to maintain vehicle manufacturing and testing schedule
