Digital Asset Management (Dam) Specialist
CurrentDeveloping and executing the digital asset management strategy for the Lab Products and Services Division. Supporting global teams, maximizing the value of digital assets (documents, images, video, audio) across all interconnected platforms, and improving processes and system capabilities with a focus on ease-of-use, data quality, and SEO.• Main Power User and business owner of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) and video marketing streaming platform (Wistia) for the LPS.• Ensure file naming standards, organization, metadata tagging, and updates of the division's digital assets (35,000+ active assets). Responsible for the upload of 30% of assets company-wide (2,300+ annually) and final approval of marketing assets before push to DAM proper and Public use. Troubleshoot issues and flag assets that do not meet Sartorius branding requirements for correction. Map assets to eShop PDPs.• Support DAM users, editors, and externals and work to improve the searchability, value, and functionality of our digital assets for SEO and user experience. • Regularly review and update the DAM keyword taxonomy to align with the needs of users.• Improve the system by writing IT feature requests (JIRA). Work closely with the DAM-IT Product Owner to make the business case for, test, and implement new capabilities in DAM. Champion the needs of the business and functional requirements in our IT platforms.• Design and implement DAM and NPI related processes, solutions, and workflows.• Work cross-functionally with the Creative, Branding, IT, Marketing, Product Management, Campaign Management, RBM, and Sales & Service teams.• Project manage special projects for digital marketing objectives and team enablement (Asana).• Initiate improvements and fixes in the MarTech stack: Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), Web Content Management Systems (WCMS), eShop, and Sales enablement (Highspot) platforms.
