- Weighbridge Responsibilities: - Proficiently operate AX RTM 2012 ERP to manage all commodity movements. - Conduct laboratory testing of barley and malted grains, monitoring results. - Contribute to the setup and efficient management of logistics for commodity movements. - Maintain effective communication with customers regarding their commodity movements. - Provide assistance to the office and management teams - Demonstrate flexibility by working shifts during peak harvest seasons.- Production Operator Responsibilities (Malt Plant): - Assume responsibility for shift coverage during 12-hour day and night shifts in the malt plant. - Operate and monitor automated machinery throughout the entire malt production process. - Execute precise procedures, including stripping Saladin box germination vessels to kiln and casting grain from flat bottom steeps. - Monitor green malt in germination vessels, determining optimal times for grain spraying. - Uphold stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards.- Production Operator Duties (Site-wide): - Operate a telehandler truck (Manitou) with proficiency in forks, fork attachments, and grain buckets. - Utilize scissor lifts and cherry pickers for tasks at elevated heights. - Ensure site cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. - Facilitate the efficient transfer of grain from flat stores into silos/jumbo bins. - Execute meticulous grain storage testing, encompassing temperature/quality monitoring and comprehensive inspections for pests, water ingress, and other potential issues.

Unloading grain into the elevator, and loading grain into rail, shipping containers, or b-train trailers. Grading grain collected at harvest time, and inbound loads. Maintain the Safety, Health, and Environment digital folder for the Lyalta elevator. Create spreadsheets for daily tasks (such as in store & on farm reporting). Train new hires, and cross train current staff members between sites. Assist in contracting, stock reporting and other managerial tasks.
