Effectively oversee Value Added Services and E9-1-1 Regulatory Services strategic direction, day-to-day operations, and technology roadmap to implement cloud-based solutions and ensure the security of wireline and wireless networks. Hire, manage, and mentor a team of 10 direct reports and 5 contractors while managing a $5M budget and 3-year strategic plan.★ Next Gen 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Project – Product Owner of NG9-1-1 and built the strategic roadmap to redesign and enhance 911 services in alignment with new CRTC standards, which is set to launch in March 2021. Identified the opportunity to build and host NG9-1-1 services for Emergency Management Organizations and create a new revenue stream. Produce and present monthly executive summaries and quarterly budget forecasts for Executives.★ Mobile Location Center (MLC) Migration Project – Oversee the development and migration of the MLC platform from a bare metal architecture to a cloud environment in collaboration with the Cloud Team and Comtech. Automated critical processes using CI/CD for the MLC platform and worked with Procurement to renegotiate the contract with Comtech.★ Wireless Public Alerting (WPA) Project – Represented Telus on the CRTC working group to strategically plan the national implementation of the WPA system. Collaborated with CRTC, Pelmorex, Bell, and Rogers to define the technical standards and conduct an RFP to select the platform. Internally, oversaw the development and implementation of the WPA system and currently completing the process to upgrade the system to be 5G ready.★ Legacy Wireline E9-1-1 Services Project – Reverse engineered the Automatic Location Identification (ALI) server for wireline services to be able to support and implement improved resiliency and reliability to the outdated architecture. Developed and implemented new performance dashboards and system reporting to be able to proactively monitor the platform.

• Championed the full-cycle development and daily operations of 3 Value Added Services platforms, Next Gen Voicemail, RoamWare, and Auto Configuration Services. Oversaw a team of 8 engineers and operations staff including setting team and individual KPIs. Expertly managed CAPEX and OPEX budgets, quarterly budget forecasts, and project reporting. ★ Successfully developed and updated a comprehensive 3-year roadmap plan for each technology including decommissioning plans for legacy platforms. ★ Wireless and Wireline NextGen Voicemail Project – Strategically designed the Next Gen Voicemail system, migration plan, and decommissioning of the legacy Mpathix system without service interruptions for 6M wireless and 2M wireline customers. Oversaw the RFP selection process and negotiated a new contract with Movius in collaboration with the VP of Value Added Services and Procurement team. Focused on the client experience, reliability, and scalability of the new platform. ★ Increased revenues by $2.6M by designing and launching visual voicemail and voicemail over MMS for specific Android OEM devices, a feature exclusive to Telus. ★ RoamWare Project –In response to customer complaints about roaming charges when travelling internationally, worked with Product and Marketing to conduct a benchmark study on Verizon and potential solutions. Led the project team to develop and launch RoamWare which significantly reduced client complaints and increased revenues.

Expertly managed the operations for all Value Added Service Products across Telus networks including IDEN, CDMA, UMTS and LTE. Hired, managed, and trained a team of 18 direct reports while managing OPEX expenses.★ Consistently achieved “five nines” network availability and all SLA performance and delivery metrics.★ Reduced team overtime hours by 45% by implementing a project dashboard to better rebalance the work force and allocate resources effectively. ★ Significantly increased communication and coordination with the Engineering and Development Teams by building a prioritized project list, implementing a maintenance and deployment schedule, and requiring strict adherence to the Change Management Process.★ Successfully planned and executed a multi-phase approach to updating the core network from CDMA to 3G and from 3G to LTE.
