About Jarad Lucan

I am a partner at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, and the chair of the firm's Employment and Labor Practice Group. I represent public and private sector clients and non-profit organizations on labor and employment matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Connecticut State Board of Labor Relations. I also serve as a lead negotiator during contract negotiations with unions. In addition, I advise employers on personnel-related issues and conduct effective, interactive and engaging training for employers on issues such as sexual harassment prevention. I am a frequent speaker, author and media commentator on labor and employment issues, both nationally and locally.
