My experience in modeling and analyzing complex structures has taught me the importance of data-driven decision-making. As a result, I have been drawn towards the data we produce and work with. We all have it, see its value, but how do we utilize it? As a person I enjoy the whole data handling process, from finding smarts ways to clean the data, analyze it, and finding and presenting the data stories. As a member of Artelia’s sustainability working group, I have been instrumental in analyzing environmental impact and preparing engineers for LCA requirements. Through this work, I have developed my ability to find the meaning and telling impactful data stories that drive sustainability. I have the ability to find and present complex data in a clear and compelling way, making it easy for stakeholders to understand the implications and take action. This skillset was especially utilized and developed during my 4 years working on Livsvitenskapsbygget (The Life Science Building), Norway's largest university and hospital building (see roles in "projects"), where optimization and analyzing data helped stakeholders take better and more informed decisions in an early phase, increasing quality and reducing risk.
