I manage the business relationship with FTSE from a JSE's perspective and complete and monitor the FTSE/JSE business plan that has been set in place to develop the Index market within South Africa.One of my deliverables are to market, promote and sell the FTSE/JSE Africa Indices series and the JSE Indices (Interest rate and SRI) to the local and international investment community, so as to launch various passivley managed products such as ETF's, Unit Trusts, Structured products and Institutional Funds off of these Indices.In addition to the promotion of the current index series, I work closly with FTSE our international partner with regard to research and the launch of new Indices for the South African and International Market.
