I am a Senior Data Scientist at the Bosch Center for AI, where I solve interesting, complex problems using deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision. Among other tasks, I have been working with foundation models for manufacturing, active learning for autonomous driving, and reinforcement learning for optimized electric vehicle charging. I am an adept programmer in Python, C/C++, and am familar with many other programming languages. I can create, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques. I am skilled with both PyTorch and Tensorflow and have gotten my hands very dirty in structuring new neural networks, building new layers, and adapting loss functions to make the networks learn precisely what I want them to. I am able to read, digest, and translate academic articles into code. My background is in theoretical particle physics, where my research was focused on the large hadron collider, dark matter, supersymmetry, technicolor, and flavor physics.
