Innovations in large-scale survey questionnaire development to improve educational equity among U.S. students.Executed end-to-end delivery (initial development to operational assessment) of annual survey questionnaires. Lead mathematics and science survey questionnaire development to assess contextual factors related to student achievement.Worked with content experts to incorporate K-12 national standards for science and mathematical practice into questionnaire topics. Developed reports and supplemental documents to support internal project milestones. Collaborated with the reporting process to assist in development of compelling storylines to present questionnaire data and results to the public.

Lead trainer responsible for planning and management of the annual training calendar, supplementary materials, and training development —Created and facilitated 75% of all professional development training.Provided direct technical assistance to community members of different backgrounds, ages, and levels of leadership to implement evidence-based prevention strategies. Training topics included, data driven decision making, community needs assessments, cultural competency, and implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies.Compiled and synthesized national and community-level data to create reports to be shared with internal and external stakeholders.

Under the supervision of the PI (Akane Zusho, Ph.D.), worked as a researcher to investigate and implement interventions to improve motivation and self-regulated learning among a diverse high-school population.Co-developed multiple research-based interventions for high-school girls with the purpose of improving self-regulated learning and study skills for improvement in mathematics, English, and SAT mathematics and English skills.Cleaned and analyzed qualitative and longitudinal quantitative data— Analysis included, multiple regression, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling using SPSS and exposure to cluster and multilevel change models.

Research assistant for the Teacher Scholar Project.Evaluation initiative with the purpose of providing faculty with feedback and insight into existing course coverage to determine ways for students to be more involved in new and existing faculty research.Assisted with the development of the evaluation and assessment plan. Collaborated with faculty to determine evaluation goals.Assisted with the analysis of qualitative data including the development of a coding scheme used to describe results of the student focus groups.
