The first thirteen years of my career were spent learning the banking business, from immediately after college at entry level through several stints as branch manager and then business development executive. For the last thirteen years, I’ve been the “banker” at MGM Studios, serving as Assistant Manager progressing to my current position as the Executive Director of the Treasury Department.My continued success in these different positions reflects my constantly growing knowledge of banking operations, a strong work ethic and noted facility to work closely and productively with others from all levels of an organization in team alignments. I not only maintain strict oversight on cash receipts and expenditures, but also provide management with in-depth cash status forecasts, at one time doing so on a daily basis.By teaching, training and mentoring others, I bring added gratification to my work and assist in increasing the ROI on our human capital. I find the most rewarding work environments to be where an always thoughtful, sometimes creative and never imprecise application of banking knowledge is what produces repeatedly outstanding results.
