I’m Jared T Armstrong, I grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI, and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science civil engineering degree in May 2020, with emphases in municipal and transportaiton engineering. I completed an internship during the summer of 2017 with CBS Squared Inc., where I mainly edited microstation drawings and conducted on-site inspection of various construction projects. In the summer of 2019 and winter of 2020, I completed an internship with Oakridge Engineering. At Oakridge, I worked on creating plan details with AutoCAD, Conducted on-site inspection, and surveyed using a GPS and total station system. I also aided in writing reports. I started my first job out of college in November 2020 with Weston Solution Inc. as an Engineering Associate (EIT) after relocating to Austin, Texas. I worked mainly on water and wastewater design projects. Some duties I had included creating redlines for CAD designers, working on engineer’s opinion of construction cost estimates, and creation of project manuals. I also gained a lot of experience in processing submittals. I started a new position in July 2022 with CAS Consulting & Services Inc. as an Engineering Associate II. This position is also based out of Austin, Texas. My hobbies include watching and following sports, the most important to me being the Green Bay Packers. I went to a lot of Packer games living in Wisconsin since my parents had season tickets. Growing up, I spent a lot of time bow and gun hunting whitetail deer in Wisconsin. Living in Texas, I have spent most of my time outdoors fishing. I grew up playing ice hockey, and enjoy all winter outdoor activities as well. I also enjoy playing video games on my computer. I love playing Texas hold ‘em and euchre, and enjoy telling funny stories and making people laugh. Overall, I’m hard working,I learn fast, but above everything, I get along well with everyone.
