I am a multifaceted professional with over 9 years of experience in education and over 25 years of experience in culinary arts. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, with a focus on Industrial hygiene, while working as a self-employed private tutor and chef.My passion for teaching and cooking drives me to provide high-quality services. As a tutor, I specialize in math and chemistry for grades 7-12 and college and test prep for the SAT/ACT exams. I have helped hundreds of students improve their grades, confidence, and test scores and mostly aided in achieving their goals as students. As a chef, I cater for in-home events and create menus and recipes that suit various preferences and dietary needs. I also have a strong background in biomedical sciences, having conducted cancer research with small molecule chemo-drug modification, resulting in a publication in ChemMedChem in 2016. I also spent 15 years shadowing and working for my father at his veterinary practice. I am eager to combine and apply my knowledge and skills in public health and biomedical sciences to positively impact the workplace and surrounding environment.
