Current● Prepare environmental documents, including EIRs, Initial Studies, Mitigated Negative Declarations (MND), and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Programs (MMRP) that conform with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) ● Provides detailed analysis of potential environmental impacts, identifies mitigation measures, and develops alternative solutionsNotable Accomplishments:★ Alviso Pump Station Project IS/MND – Project Manager for an IS/MND for the placement of a new 110 cfs stormwater pump station in New Chicago Marsh and outfall along the Alviso Slough in the Alviso community to protect the community from 100-year flood events. Facilitated inter-agency coordination and review of the project and is currently assisting in procuring state and federal permits necessary to construct the project. ★ San José Outfall Rehabilitation Project – Project Manager for rehabilitation and replacement of eight existing stormwater outfalls located along various rivers/creeks throughout the City of San José. Successfully prepared and processed the Notice of Exemption for the project and continues to facilities inter-agency review of the project design. Assisted in coordinating with the Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency on identifying project-level mitigation for impacts to sensitive habitat and continues to assist in the procurement of state and federal permits necessary to rehabilitate the outfall structures.
