My trajectory has been all but linear; more renaissance than Teutonic. I have worked as a Carpenter, Small Business Owner, English Teacher, Alpine Climbing Guide, Paramedic, Firefighter, and Captain. I have struggled to keep healthy balance sheets and witnessed the fiscal magic of creative thought and accountability. I have traveled to all seven continents and guided successful climbs to the highest peaks in North and South America. I have helped people obtain their greatest goals (climbing), worked in teams to save lives and property, and am partnering to raise two vigorous and intellectually hungry young girls. I have also seen and experienced failure, mistakes, deprivation and death. It is through this narrative that I have acquired a great depth of experiential knowledge in leadership, and how it can be applied in both the best of times and in the worst.
