- Lead for technical compliance and certification for marine sub-systems on LCS, Austal Variant: managed certification process of 104 systems and machinery arrangements to meet ABS class- Led team of 10 Engineers to prepare designs for customer and class acceptance- Lead Engineer for anchoring, mooring, deck systems, and auxiliary hydraulics on Littoral Combat Ship (LCS)- Created costs savings initiative plan that was approved by LCS Program Engineer and has contributed to potential savings of in excess of $7 million over FY10 LCS contract of 10 hulls- Worked as an intern while in school from May 2007, hired as graduate engineer in May 2009- Modeling Support, work with teams of 20+ drafters and designers to incorporate design in a functional and workable model while meeting customer expectations- Knowledgeable and practiced in engineering design to ABS, ASME B31.1, NAVSEA standards, ASME SCTN VIII
