My name is Jared, and I was raised in a small town in southern Michigan. From a young age, I have always had a passion for people. I enjoy the idea of teamwork and growing together as a unit to help reach a common goal. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Science of Nursing (BSN) Degree and started my career in the Nursing at a local hospital in the area. For the last two years (2021-Present) I have been doing travel nursing with my specialty being in Critical Care/Intensive Care nursing. The nursing field has taught me so much about myself such as the importance of critical thinking and appropriate decision making, especially in high intensity situations (Critically ill patient). It has also highlighted my communication skills, in which I must be in constant contact with other members of the healthcare field, as well as, patients' families as we formulate a plan of care for these individuals. At this time I am looking for a new position in which I can expand upon my skills that I have attained within the nursing profession. I would love to pursue a job in the tech or sales that is able to utilize my knowledge of the medical field and continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
