When I first started coaching I was struggling for work. I didn’t know how to connect. I felt awkward about asking for business and referrals, and everything seemed so difficult. As a security manager: -De- escalated, and when needed escalated both active high and low threat situations to keep site and personnel safe.-Monitored daily activities of a 200 room plus hotel through CCTV and Avigilon Access Manager.-Mitigated future threats and on-site risks by developing security procedures to further protect on-site personnel and property such as evacuation plans and shooting response plans.-Conducted local security checks, foot and vehicle patrols, witness and suspect interviews, detained suspects, and investigated crime scenes. -Responded to varying situations such as distress calls, requests for assistance, and investigated suspicious activity. -Oversaw and secured millions of dollars worth in assets and personnel such as political appointees and crime suspects both onsite and en-route to destinations such as to court or to jail.-Planned site investigations and implemented policies and procedures to keep the public safe and preserve life and property in the future. - Informed and educated civilians and military personnel and suspects of all their rights, Miranda, Garrity, and Weingarten.- I’ve detected, labeled, seized, and protected evidence, witnesses, and suspects on scene. -Coached employees and staff as needed during stressful times. -I’ve conducted witness interviews and case testimonials, taken and recorded initial complaints by site and guest visitors, and responded accordingly to all emergency situations such as personal on-site attacks to other guests and visitors of the hotel.

I was a recipient of the Board of Governors Scholarship for a social project I lead with a team of 10. We mapped 2 years worth of crime onto a digital map with google which allowed us to predict exactly where crime would occur next. I wrote many papers on subjects relating to English studies (Post-Colonial Studies, Feminism, Rhetoric). I engaged and led group projects that ranged from producing book trailer videos, recording and editing podcasts, and designing animated informative videos.

I was a team leader, squad leader, and section leader. I deployed twice to Afghanistan inside of highly active combat zones. I trained over twenty men within my machine gun section my final year there. I carried responsibilities from training new marines in combative tactics to the Administration and Logistics of their files (legal matters). On the 2nd deployment I was a project manager and oversaw various projects that had to do with rebuilding part of Afghanistan infrastructures.
