I am a passionate, hard-working engineer graduate from Michigan Tech University with a Double Major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering in May 2019.I have a educational background in satellite communications systems from my previous experience as a telecommunications team leader for the Auris and Stratus project. I have created a link budget to analyze a communication link between the satellite and the ground station with multiple RF bands taken into consideration.I am interested about emitter location analysis, radio analysis, FPGA, space systems engineering and satellite design. Auris Chief Engineer
Auris project is a Air Force Research Laboratory University Nanosat Program sponsored project. Auris is a low-cost micro-sat that will map the footprints of a Geostationary Communications Satellite. Auris will also be capable of locating the desired Geostationary Communications Satellite using multilateration and Time Difference of Arrival. Write, manage, and verify requirements using a Requirements Verification Matrix for the Auris project. Review subsystem design ideas to ensure the system can integrate and accomplish the requirements. Also, manage a team of System Engineers for each subsystem of the spacecraft to provide guidance to push Auris in the right direction to meet the set requirements.As for managerial aspects, I am in charge of creating, verifying, and organizing requirements in a Requirements Verification Matrix. I am also in charge of a team of system engineers that in are charge of their respective subteams requirements, design approvals, testing, and integration with the spacecraft. I manage their roles, provide guidance on their projects, and hold meetings weekly with the systems engineers to approve system designs, testing procedure, and integration procedures.
Stratus Chief Engineer
Stratus is a project sponsored by NASA's USIP program. Stratus is a low-cost 3U cubesat that will use an infrared imager to image clouds to create stereoscopic images. Stratus will take picture of Cloud Fraction, Cloud Top Height, and Cloud Top Wind to compile the stereoscopic images.Write, manage, and verify requirements using a Requirements Verification Matrix for the Auris project.
