Radio and Radar Analyst

Auris project is a Air Force Research Laboratory University Nanosat Program sponsored project. Auris is a low-cost micro-sat that will map the footprints of a Geostationary Communications Satellite. Auris will also be capable of locating the desired Geostationary Communications Satellite using multilateration and Time Difference of Arrival. Write, manage, and verify requirements using a Requirements Verification Matrix for the Auris project. Review subsystem design ideas to ensure the system can integrate and accomplish the requirements. Also, manage a team of System Engineers for each subsystem of the spacecraft to provide guidance to push Auris in the right direction to meet the set requirements.As for managerial aspects, I am in charge of creating, verifying, and organizing requirements in a Requirements Verification Matrix. I am also in charge of a team of system engineers that in are charge of their respective subteams requirements, design approvals, testing, and integration with the spacecraft. I manage their roles, provide guidance on their projects, and hold meetings weekly with the systems engineers to approve system designs, testing procedure, and integration procedures.

Stratus is a project sponsored by NASA's USIP program. Stratus is a low-cost 3U cubesat that will use an infrared imager to image clouds to create stereoscopic images. Stratus will take picture of Cloud Fraction, Cloud Top Height, and Cloud Top Wind to compile the stereoscopic images.Write, manage, and verify requirements using a Requirements Verification Matrix for the Auris project. Designed and integrated satellite communication systems for two projects: Auris and Stratus. Wrote a link budget to provide a basis of what a design will need to create a link, and choose off-the-shelf components to integrate together into a communications system for ground communication with the satellite.

Create, design, integrate, and test a satellite custom ground system electronics board that contains: a 32 switch Relay Board, Watchdog circuit, inhibit tester, and battery charge and discharge system.

Build, manage, and troubleshoot computer systems for faculty members at Michigan Technological University. Manage and organize 56 student employees that keep university business running with technology. Software Packaging using Powershell and Batch scripts to install, configure, and uninstall programs for about 1500 Windows computer on campus using SCCM.

Worked on a small satellite project for the Department of Defense. I wrote requirements, helped with basic project design, worked with basic FPGA image processing algorithms, and power cell balancing.
