-Competencies include: running statistical and econometric models (e.g. linear regression, ARIMA modeling, logistic regression) on key metrics and demographics for personalizing marketing tactics with the purpose of maximizing ROI; mining historical sales and customer data to answer executive level requests; automate the process of data collection and presentation; and summarizing key findings in a timely and concise manner.-Skills include: three years of increasingly complex SAS programming (e.g. macros, do loops, statistical procedures, UNIX commands, running pass-through SQL from external databases, etc.); two years of querying from SQL databases such as Oracle, DB2, and Teradata; five years experience with Excel and Microsoft Office programs; one year experience writing Microsoft VBA; and experience leveraging Spotfire data visualization.

Develop forecast models of system peak demand and energy usage for 51 member utilities, combining linear regression and time-series techniques, and utilizing weather and economic variables as inputs. In addition, provide continued analytical support for all demand-side drivers of load growth at industrial, commercial, and residential levels. These drivers include: weather, economic and demographic impacts, regulatory changes, energy efficiency programs, demand-side management activities, and smart-grid technology.
