The DevMountain Roadmap to Success was a group project I had a part in building which had one goal in mind. It was to be a tool to aid DevMountain graduates follow the post graduate guide in maintaining their schedule and improving their coding skills as they search for their first job as a developer.​The project utilized many technologies as everyone in my group brought their knowledge and experience together in building this site. The server of the application was built using Node which utilized middleware to handle the user sessions as well as having a SQL server backing that as our database. The front end of the app being built with React JS, we utilized Redux for the transfer of state and data between pages. This was crucial in the connection of our Todo list to our calendar, which is also custom made for this site. An eCommerce site I built as a student at DevMountain in three weeks' time for my first major undertaking. This site utilizes React, a JavaScript framework, for the front end as well as Redux for all state management. The site is built on a Node server and uses Axios to handle all HTTP requests between the front and back end. All customer and product data is hosted on a PostgreSQL database and transferred over an encrypted connection when it is called upon. Worked directly with clients to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Grow.com software experience. Once a bug was identified, worked to document the environment in which the bug was occurring to aid the Q.A. team in troubleshooting and identifying bugs in the software.
