1. Provide technical assistance to Credit Analysts and Lending Personnel in the preparation of credit offerings a. Consult with Credit Analysts on a daily basis and serve on questions involving matters of a borrower’s credit capacity. b. Work closely with Lending Personnel to determine informational needs required for loan submission. c. When necessary, in conjunction with Lending Personnel, engage in the direct contact with the borrower and/or the borrower’s representative for the purpose of clarifying financial statement requirements. d. Evaluate submissions to assure that adequate financial statements are received to support loan requests. e. Quality assurance for credit offering memorandum preparation and compliance with policy. 2. Manages production of credit offering memorandums, annual reviews, loan reports and policy exception tracking. a. Conduct regular meetings with the credit analysts to monitor status of loan requests and reviews. b. May prepare credits offerings or reviews (annual or interim). c. Make recommendations for changes in procedures, which enable the bank to maintain credit quality and efficient production. 3. Responsible for making sure that the Executive Loan Committee Agenda and the Loan Committee Packets are out on time and in good order. Take and prepare Executive Loan Committee minutes. Maintains the official record of such minutes. 4. Supervisory responsibility over a staff of credit and performance analysts. a. Direct the activities of the Credit Analysts. b. Annual and Interim performance reviews and salary administration for the Credit Analysts. c. Mentor & direct training progress of all staff supervised. d. Recommend, seek approval, implement, and administer training programs.5. Responsible for managing real estate appraisal bidding, ordering, and review process as well as the completing the necessary environmental due diligence of all commercial real estate loans.
