Initially 6 Years of laboratory technician work within an exportor with a focus on dairy goods, I performed a wide range of activties such as general chemical, physical, and microbiological testing and data analysis, reporting, calibrating, maintaining equipment, and purchasing. After developing test techniques in liaison and compliance with state, federal, and international regulatory bodies, including importing country requirements, I was offered a position in the Quality Assurance.A following 4 years of Quality Assurance, where some achievements include development of a complete HACCP system audited and accepted by regulatory bodies, and Food Safety Manual achieving Food Safety System Certification 22000 v5 (ISO 22000), Health and Safety Representative (HSR), Lead Auditor FSSC, development of training programs, and obtaining further accreditations and certifications, including Halal, Kosher, SEDEX, and more.I was provided an opportunity in the following 2 years \ to apply these expertise in a role as technical advisor, including working with a food manufacturer and exporter in both Australia and UK, development of alternative pasteurisation technique approved by the Department of Agriculture (Australia), visiting domestic and international customers, and advising on technical and regulatory aspects of export to, and product applications in; Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, UAE, and more. In 2020 as international visits became restricted, my focus shifted to advising and assisting a well established Quarantine Approved Premises, importer, exporter, and 3PL warehouse in Brisbane, Australia. Following a further 2 years in an advisory role, and project lead for development of an inhouse Warehouse Management System, I accepted the role as General Manager in 2022.
