At A&T Trucking I negotiate freight prices for multiple customers both in the spot market and large multi-bids. I coordinate these shipments with our company trucks or broker them to trusted carriers when needed. I set the company up with multiple Menard's Distribution Centers to be on their "Preferred Carrier List" and in their drop trailer program. Currently we have 50+ trucks in our fleet with trailers that service the areas of the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast United States. Our trucks can handle both refrigerated and dry van shipments and have setup drop trailers with multiple meatpacking facilities in Iowa.

Upon accepting the position at Coyote I quickly developed my own relationships with more than 20 transportation companies/motor carriers. These relationships made it easier for me to find freight solutions for the carriers in the Coyote network. I was also able to leverage my relationships and educate the companies on current market trends in order to find the most cost effective option for Coyote. During my last two years at Coyote I also mentored new and upcoming sales reps to show them different ways of being able to sell freight in a high paced, challenging environment.

Reserve

During my enlistment in the United States Army Reserve I went on one tour and deployed to Jalalabad, Afghanistan June 2010-June 2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My duties while deployed consisted mainly of managing the shipping and receiving of assets and containers in the RSOI (Reception Staging Onward-movement & Integration) yard. I was also tasked with arranging delivery of equipment from incoming convoys to other outlying FOBs (Forward Operating Base).While in the Army I also attended the Warrior Leader Course in Ft Indiantown Gap, PA where I graduated Commandant's List.

While working at Discount Tire I quickly advanced from Tire Technician to Service Coordinator. As Service Coordinator I monitored the backroom workflow to ensure timely service and maintained communication with customers and store manager. I also assisted customers in the selections of new products and scheduled them for regular maintenance.
