About Jared Crown
I am currently an Active Duty member of the United States Air Force, on track to retire in 2028. Even as I near retirement, I continue to listen to and learn new things from individuals at all levels while striving to share that knowledge with and help/mentor those around me. There are still many things I hope to learn and accomplish going forward.I am also the standing VP, working to develop and operate the 501c organization, Gulf Coast Cybersecurity PathwayS (GCCP). This non-profit org is targeted to launch in July 2024 and our goal is to advance cybersecurity education and workforce development, focusing on underrepresented communities, minorities, and veterans. This will be accomplished through government grants to provide relevant training, mentorship, and coordinate internships within the Mississippi Gulf Coast cybersecurity community. The "S" at the end of PathwayS is capitalized to emphasize that there are multiple paths available to be successful in the cyber community.
