As a member of the data integrity team, my primary focus is quality and consistency of data being entered into our firm wide data base. In conjunction, I was brought into the data setups team and my focus there is setup and tracking of new investments. On both teams there is a stringent focus on quality of data entry; I run setups controls daily and review flagged circumstances and connect with our performance reporting team to flag logic/ script issues. As a senior analyst I take it upon myself to action any adhoc projects and requests in a timely manner. I pride myself on a team based approach where I review projects, tasks and requests with different members of our team, giving them the opportunity to take action the next time a similar task arises. Efficiency and effectiveness has been a primary focus since my inception at Hamilton Lane. Thus far I have integrated our teams workflow for financial statement and partners capital account statement reconciliations entirely to share point and automated portions of the workflow using power automate. I have personally aided in the creation of several new data items to track specific data points internally and built in this data to excel templates making the reconciliation process more uniform across all clients and investments. Created presentations for areas of opportunity within the firm and sent to corresponding leadership from those teams; followed through with all actionable items and partnered with the strategic IT team to improve visibility of reconciliation support through alterations to our in house document storing platform. Continually communicates with third party vendors to gain intelligible insight into their processes and help correct errors in documentation and data entry.
