About Jared Donald
My career includes nearly 20 years in the solar industry as a senior executive of some of the world's most prominent solar companies, a consultant supporting corporate strategy and government policy development and a board and advisory committee member for industry associations and government entities.Through this experience my teams have sold, built and/or financed over 500 MW of solar PV and battery systems over the last 5 years. This work included own origination and the setup or partnerships and joint ventures targeting commercial and agricultural sector partners across Canada and the USA. In addition to the project development work I have developed deep experience across every facet of the renewable energy project life cycle including the setup of contract manufacturing solar module and racking facilities in Canada as well as the restructuring and sale of non-core company business units.I am also the past chair of Board of the Directors for the Canadian Solar Industry Association, and former member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee of the Ontario Independent Electricity System Operators (IESO).
