I have been working the past 8 years in numerous manufacturing facilities throughout Kohler Company. I started my career working for Kohler focusing on the process of making sheet molding compound to be compression molded into fiberglass bathroom fixtures. This consisted of day to day troubleshooting along with many continuous and process improvement projects. As i continued my career in the Kohler Huntsville, AL. plant, i started to expand my role into the support of launching new products. This consisted of participating in a product launch from its concept through implementation. This includes getting specs for a completed product and having to set up a way to efficiently manufacture it.After 5 years at the Huntsville, AL. plant i accepted a position in Kohler, WI. This new position would allow me to focus on capital projects, new product development, and new product integration. This new roll has allowed me to gain experience with more manufacturing process's. My most recent accomplishment was to assist with developing a process to make composite sinks. This project has really helped with gaining expertise in automation, laser marking, epoxy injection molding, tool design, robotics, new product development, APG and epoxy related equipment. I also have gained extensive knowledge managing large capital projects to install new equipment and processes.
