Oversees all aspects of the organization's Environmental Monitoring Field Services and Microbiology Laboratory operations. Responsible for developing, implementing, and defending new test methods for field services and the microbiology laboratory. Focused on establishing and building long lasting client relationships to ensure their needs are fulfilled and the service is completed as appropriate.

Oversees all aspects of the organization's laboratory operations, such as developing and implementing new testing or technology and the training and coaching of employees. Responsible for ensuring that client needs are fulfilled, the appropriate resources are available in order to complete testing, and that the laboratory operations are completed as appropriate.

 Ensures that the conditions of the laboratory are appropriate for the testingperformed and provides a safe environment in which employees are protected fromphysical, chemical and biological hazards . Understand the significance of deviations found with regard to the normal use ofmaterials tested and assist the Quality Department in the investigation ofdeviations. Communicates with clients on an ongoing basis to discuss interpretation of testresults, trend analysis and matters regarding exceeded concern levels, follow-upsand reports. Reviews opinions and interpretations expressed by testing personnel Manages laboratory personnel.

 Visual / Microscopic Colony Differentiation Interact with clients as needed to provide technical advise and consult with regardto testing Set up and analyze tests using aseptic technique and according to all protocols anddirectives and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 Assist in training personnel Conduct onsite testing Assist with investigations into impact on laboratory operations resulting fromobservations, deviations and key equipment failures. Perform quality control testing, including pH, sterility and growth promotion testing Perform standard analytical procedures for identification/ isolation ofmicroorganisms Bacterial Identification - employs modified conventional, fluorogenic andchromogenic substrates. Cleanroom environmental monitoring compliant with ISO, USP, EU (RCS, RCSPlus, SAS, MAS 100, Climet, and Metone). Prepare media and reagents Water testing analysis and test set up including TOC, Endotoxin, Conductivity,Bioburden Reading Environmental monitoring plates, gram staining and colony typeidentification Maintain aspects of administrative work including final report writing, sending ofAnalysis Result Notifications and sending reports and invoices Help write and maintain SOP’s Microscopy - Mold identification, microphotography. Develops and validates appropriate methodology for testing client products for totalorganic carbon utilizing the GE Sievers Laboratory 900 analyzer
