Some people are built for Entrepreneurship. I found that it was my path when I was working in an industry that I love, but for someone else. I roasted coffee there for 3 years and began writing my business plan in my last year after winning a cupping competition with my very first, personally responsible roast profile. As Production Manager, I became very familiar with implementing and manipulating systems for efficiency, managing a team, and keeping up with quality control. As a Founding Member & Head of Coffee Operations at Bloom Coffee Roasters, I became even better all of those things while having oversight of both the Roasting Operation and our Café.
