Member of the Conflict Intervention Service (CIS) team at BASF. CIS utilizes conflict resolution and mediation skills to avoid eviction and prevent homelessness. CIS also works to resolve commercial leasing conflicts and evictions for small businesses.As a Conflict Navigator, I am involved with every aspect of case development, from the initial request for help through the mediation of multi-party disputes. I ensure clients receive the support they need, from receiving social service-style care to providing agency referrals. I directly mediate housing disputes between two or more parties and help create shared agreements that stabilize housing. I also coordinate with independent contractors to ensure cases are closed in a timely manner. Duties also involve helping clients file legal documents with the San Francisco County Superior Court, conducting outreach presentations detailing CIS' services, coordinating with community partners for client care and outreach efforts, assisting with database management, and tracking key deliverables.

As a program associate, I helped welcome 33 international scholars to Seattle to engage in interreligious and intercultural dialogue surrounding the function of religion in American government and society. I helped facilitate group discussions, coordinated logistical concerns, traveled with the program to Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Portland, OR, helped facilitate logistics with COVID-positive participants, and led a session on my own research related to the topic (see below)
