Logistics Specialist
CurrentUtilize multiple resources such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Navy Enterprise resource Planning (Navy-ERP), LOGICOM, CRIF, Financial and Air clearance Transportation System (FACTS), and Financial Audit Compliance Enhancement Tool (FACET) to determine proper handling of material and document assets. Ensure all documents are FIAR compliant. Conduct routine quality assurance checks on stored material. Ensure material is in A condition and is serviceable for redistribution. Act to ensure timely delivery of product to customers. Ensure the timely processing of customer orders and customer access to product and order information. Receives and processes MILSTRIP status updates and advises the customer of adverse status under normal supervision. Refer unresolved, difficult, or complex sales order management problems to higher grade CSTs and/or other Specialists for resolution. Escalate tickets on high priority orders. Comply with a wide range of well-established supply support policies, procedures, regulations, and operating instructions. Work inside warehouses in bin rooms, in open storage areas and on receiving and shipping docks. Transport material across city limits for the purpose of long and short-term storage and delivery to customers. Operation will include but not limited to the validation of shipboard equipment against master documents. Ensure the safe transport of inventory, analyzing the safest and more proficient way to accomplish goals. Operate business essential equipment such as tie down machines, fax machines, automatic shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, banding machines, and other various tools to secure materials.
