• Primary research focused on the endogenous integration of a FRET Tension sensor to measure the mechanical forces across Talin protein found within Focal Adhesions• Tested various CRISPR/Cas9 published integration methods in conjunction to increase knock-in efficiency within the zebrafish model• Generated various knockout (loss of function) zebrafish lines utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 system• Supported Yale’s Chief of Neurosurgery in a drug screen of neurovascular integrity of intracranial aneurysms modeled within zebrafish through laser scanning confocal imaging • Collaborated to show LPHN’s, a gPCR, role in endothelial alignment in the presence of mechanical forces by whole mount immunostaining and confocal imaging

As a graduate teaching assistant under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Mori, I was in charge of multiple Microbiology labs. Responsibilities include the setup and cleanup of lab, ensure undergraduate lab assistant is properly fulfilling their responsibilities, as well as, assist students with any questions they have. In addition, I am responsible for all grading for assigned students.

In my final year of my undergraduate degree, I performed research under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas Quintyne in the Cell Biology Lab. During this time, I performed aseptic cell culturing techniques of ovarian and oral cancer cell lines and examined mitotic defects via fluorescent microscopy.
