The Communication and Information Sciences Commons Library is the hub for studying, editing, and printing for all students majoring in communications. It is located in Reese Phifer Hall right next to Bryant-Denny Stadium off of University Boulevard. It is located in Reese Phifer Hall right next to Bryant-Denny Stadium off of University Boulevard. Students have access to three study rooms, two computer labs, a media writing center, various books, magazines, and newspapers to use at their disposal. As a work study assistant it is my main job to monitor the library at all times, assist students with printing problems and/or check them into study rooms. Of course, I also assist with any other problem that might arise. My focus is providing as much help as possible to ensure that every student has a comfortable and positive environment to complete their assignments in. I treat every student with kindness and work hard to rise above any obstacle that I might be faced with. Show less

The Rick and Bubba Show is a nationally syndicated radio and television show that is heard on over 65 radio stations nationwide. As an intern, my job was to screen calls phone calls, record each segment, take care of the in-studio audience, and provide assistance to the six members on staff. This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase my skills in customer service as well as learn about broadcasting on a national scale. This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase my skills in customer service as well as learn about broadcasting on a national scale. Between six staff members and usually two interns we produced a 5-hour show every week day from 5:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. I used every second to my advantage and absorbed as much as possible while working there. Show less
