Lead instructor for Estancia Medical Academy, Advisor for the Health Occupations Student of America CTSO, CTE Department Chair, Safety Coordinator, and EMT Instructor. My job is to ensure the success of our medical academy students. To provide them a solid foundation to stand on to enter the medical industry. As advisor for the HOSA program I prepare our students to compete in the State Leadership Conference which is held in Northern and Southern California. Recently promoted to CTE Department chair, I attend leadership meetings to discuss our departments programs such as Engineering, Construction, Digital Media Arts, and the Medical Academy. Being a Safety Coordinator I help produce policies and procedures that ensure the safety of the students and faculty in case of an emergency. I help organize school drills, maintain emergency supplies, and work with local municipal fire and police departments.Lastly as a lead EMT instructor for the after bell EMT program, I educate aspiring EMS providers and help them achieve their goal of obtaining their EMT license. Being NAEMSE certified I am able prepare them to pass the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exam

Complied with OSHA and DOSH medical protocol regarding anyand all work or ride related injuries. Managed the medical records concerning more than10,000 employees, dealing with occupational health reports and Workman’sCompensation DWC-1 claims.

As an Emergency Services Coordinator for the city of La Canada Flintridge I am responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the city's emergency management program. This includes creating emergency response plans, conducting hazard assessments, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies, and training city employees, community organizations, and residents on emergency preparedness. I also manage the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during emergencies and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.

Auto Club Speedway is a Super Speedway located in Fontana CA that is recognized bythe International Speedway Corporation (ISC). It hosts various events including theNASCAR Auto Club 400 race.I am a part of a 70 person strong Medical team that responds to emergencies on the track,pits, and grandstands. Average speed during the race is a whopping 200 mph. In order torespond effectively we must augment our skills to fit the large G-Forces, they term itMotorsports Medicine. Being a part of their Medical Team is truly a prestigious honorthat takes EMS to the next level.

High School teacher at Los Amigos High School for Garden Grove Unified. I teach acourse called Medical Core UC which provides students with a solid foundation of themedical field. The course also articulates with Santa Ana College so students that aresuccessful in the course (80% or above grade) will receive college credit. The credit goestowards a Medical Assisting pathway. The course also participates in the HealthOccupation Students of America state level conference every year. The students leave thecourse with a passion for the field and a solid foundation preparing them for college andcareer readiness.

The University of Southern California offers an accelerated EMT Certification coursefor their pre-med students during their winter and summer intersessions. Teaching this program is an honor andI look forward to teaching it next winter and summer.

Served LA County, Orange County, and Riverside County as an Emergency MedicalTechnician representing Liberty Ambulance LCC. I provided pre-hospital care tonumerous patients ensuring them with the essential needs and the basic life support upontransport to each healthcare facility. Liberty Ambulance is primarily an IFT company butLiberty also covered 911 calls for the city of Downey, Vernon, Hermosa Beach,Manhattan Beach, and Compton. Working with Liberty I also gained experiencedrunning calls with ALS and CCT crews.
