Utilizing SCCM and Intune (Endpoint Manager) to manage ~8000 devices including workstations, servers and mobile devices in a hybrid co-managed environment. Streamlined our PC deployment process by using Windows Autopilot. Maintained necessary infrastructure to allow for Azure AD sync and support of domain/hybrid joined workstation to allow for more modern device management. Worked with and maintained Server infrastructure providing a dual Systems and Endpoint role. Worked closely with Security, Networking and Development teams to support company and departmental initiatives. Responsible for Active Directory / Group Policy management. Completed a rework of policy to increase device performance while complying with CIS best practices. Implemented and monitored automated patch management for workstations and servers. Wherever possible I’ve looked to implement automated and scripted solutions to eliminate or decrease overhead when maintaining operationalized systems and processes.

I worked almost exclusively with SCCM after completing a migration from 2007 to 2012. By utilizing MDT to create and manage OS images I have been able to streamline the image creation process, allow the company to easily update on a schedule, and decrease deployment times during the build process. By utilizing a web front end I was able to consolidate four separate task sequences into one. This simplified task sequence change management while at the same time streamlining the deployment process for the technicians performing the individual PC builds. In addition, I have worked to ready and deploy numerous applications in support of projects deemed critical for the business.

I worked within a team responsible for managing equipment upgrades for cellular networks. This involved working closely with project management teams and field support staff to coordinate upgrades of high availability equipment located across the country. I developed a tool to allow for the provisioning of bundled circuits, decreasing deployment time and configuration errors. I also mentored peers and support staff in necessary configuration and provisioning tasks.

Joplin, Missouri Area

I was part of a small team with a wide range of responsibilities. Our group maintained hundreds of servers, LAN and WAN equipment at 30+ locations, AD, telephone equipment and countless others systems. I learned to be a good IT generalist and balance tasks as needed across different areas. This is also where I first got my start with SCCM, implementing it in an environment with no previous client management systems. In doing so, I was able to modernize the process of PC and software deployment and allow us to gain insight into devices that were currently on the network. A lot of our work was project-based including building a DR warm site and the implementation of large data center UPS equipment.

Joplin, Missouri Area

Great Barrier Reef is where I started in IT serving in a generalist role. I assisted in taking care of all servers within the company as well as hundreds of T1 and thousands of PRI lines. As a startup company, we often had to find low cost solutions to fit our needs. In my time at GBR I implemented a new email system to replace one that could not keep up with the volume of email we were receiving. I managed this project from finding and picking a low cost, high performance, solution that we could manage all the way through testing, implementation, and the migration of users and existing email. I was also able to implement a new, easier to manage, performance monitoring system allowing us to better plan network changes.
