Responsibilities:- Design/architect enterprise IT services using Novell Products- Lead global implementation teams for designed solutions- Provide top-tier support for designed solutions- Partner with product development teams to resolve defects and improve product quality- Create documentation for designed/supported solutions..More specifically I manage, architect and help support the SuSE Linux Desktop environment at Novell. I work with our Linux Open Source Services team to design and implement the SuSE Linux Desktop environment worldwide. I work as an escalated level of support for the IS&T Operations group at Novell with any problems that they have with this product. If I am unable to resolve the problem my escalation point is the developer(s) that wrote the program. In most cases I am required to roll out beta products in a production environment and ensure their success.

Helped manage and maintain the NetWare 4.1 network for the Business Department. I managed 4 student labs with approximately 30-35 workstations in each lab. I supported the Business Administration staff with any computer related issues they had.

Helped manage, maintain, design and implement a NetWare 4.1 and Windows NT network. I was required to do a number of training sessions for the faculty and staff on how to use Microsoft Windows and other Windows applications. I also designed most of the web pages for the Library.

Helped WordPerfect customers over the phone by troubleshooting any problems with WordPerfect for Windows 5.2 and 6.0 or help them with common questions about the program. While employed there I passed the test to be a “Certified WordPerfect for Windows 6.0 Technician.” Also within 5 months I was given the responsibility to be a Resource Technician. A Resource Technician’s responsibilities were to help other WordPerfect Technicians with problems they could not solve with the customer they were helping.
